Megan Flød Johnson is a theatre artist imagining installation performances for youth and their communities. With a background in theatre for youth, classical voice and Montessori education Megan experiments with forms uniting contemporary performance, visual art and facilitated interactions with her young audiences to invite them into a performative world of stories and sights! Megan collaborates with Children's Museums and Art Centers around the country designing engaging arts programming. With strong roots in MN, Megan is also the Program Manager at Children's Museum of Southern MN and collaborates creatively with arts organizations like Z Puppets Rosenschnoz, Stepping Stone Theatre for Youth Development and Kairos Alive!, a theatre and dance company uniting older adults around movement and community. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Music from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre for Youth and Graduate Certificate in Socially Engaged Practice from Arizona State University. Megan currently resides in Saint Peter, MN with her partner, singer-songwriter Zachary Scot Johnson and their two sassy dogs.
