Mixed Media North End Map- St Paul, MN
(2021) This image below shows two young people doing a happy dance who just finished contributing to a giant, collaged-scale map of their North End neighborhood. Using cardboard, packaging material, found papers, ink, and glue, the community imagines what they’d like to see in their community. Community participants create futuristic skate parks, high-rise housing, and green spaces in vibrant, 3D color. This map hangs in the office of a St. Paul City council member.
