THE NEST at Pittsburgh Children's Museum- Megan Flod Johnson from Megan Flod Johnson on Vimeo.

A Creature comes to Pittsburgh

A creature is discovered to be living inside the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh!

Together, young people and a team of facilitators look for clues and construct a giant NEST home for the creature.
Materials used include bamboo, cotton rope, ink screen printed on Tyvek, canvas, paper note cards, beach balls, natural objects found outside near museum and postcards and letters written to and from the mysterious creature.

Project developed during the 2014 FINE Artist Residency at Pittsburgh Children's Museum.
